Thank you so much for the tremendous support! Over the weekend, you blew past the third stretch goal, and now I'm interviewing Jimmy Palmiotti for the book!
Today I'm thrilled to announce the last of the interview stretch goals. If we hit $6000, I'll add an interview with the amazing C. Spike Trotman, known as IronSpike on Kickstarter and Twitter, who has created nine Kickstarter publishing campaigns, raising over $660,000 altogether!
Spike was a Kickstarter early adopter, launching her first campaign in 2009, and she's done it all, publishing anthologies like SMUT PEDDLER and THE SLEEP OF REASON as well as webcomic reprints like SHADOWEYES and THE LESS THAN EPIC ADVENTURES OF TJ AND AMAL. I've seen Spike on Twitter posting very specific advice about things like DIY shipping and handling and organizing your work space and can't wait to get her take on the nuts and bolts of running and fulfilling multiple campaigns. I'm guessing that as a publisher of multiple anthologies, she'll also have great insight into the advantages and disadvantages of those kinds of projects and of the value of Kickstarter for projects that mainstream publishers might think of as too niche.
